The Importance of Freedom
To advocate your belief in freedom, to want to be free one has to believe in two things. One is that you are capable of taking care of yourself and using your mind to achieve your values. And two is that you're worthy of That philosophy. If we're free to use our mind to achieve our values, what happens to us? We just get a bump up against the wall because we're basically blind. Who can access this other world of perfection, of real reality? Yeah, the philosopher. He starts out as a philosopher. We're making king. Because he's the only one who has access to the real reality. And we completely depend on him.
