I wonder what the previous example is for AI. What did people see coming that scared them that was similar? Was it the internet? Was it cell phone? Like what in the past were people very worried about would be the end and how did they deal with that in that situation? Do you have any ideas? There's a lot you could come up with. You could say something like the industrial revolution. Some people I think could have predicted that.
