The Reception of My Montecello

The novel is about a group of refugees, i would call them, who are fleeing violent and take themselves to montecello and denatia. Our protagonist is related to sally hemmings, who was thomas jefferson's enslaved mother,. And so there are two questions about the reception of this novel and how people in the press responded it. There's a literary question, and there is the political question of the moment that we all continue to be. But for my book, i've had such a positive reception. I'm talking about history, and including and centring those who may not have been centred in the history.
