How to Deal With Big Uncertainty?
There does seem to be some kind of a distinction in how people treat this. And my feeling is there's a certain kind of traditional science approach, like a falsificationist kind of science approach. But i don't see why one should assume there's a hundredper cent chance we'll continue to call the shots. The more uncertain you are about it, the worst because that leaves open the possibility that it could be extremely bad and make yit worry more. That's deeply disturbing.
