Is It Good to Be Observing?

I think it's important to make sure that the stakeholders whether it's your functional manager Or the team's stakeholders or whomever engaged you as a consultant or whatever that scenario is Take some time and make sure that they understand that the first thing to do is not to go in there and start changing things I'll put an asterisk next to that we'll come back later But that it is really trying to understand what's happening. Get explicit permission for a period of time To do that observation to formulate a plan to take other actions that I think we're going to talk about here.
