The Taro of Marseilles - A Brief History
Taro is a pack of playing cards, originating in use from at least the mid fifteenth century. Originally used to play games throughout europe such as italian taro cini or french taro and austrian coneglufen. Each suit has 14 cards, ten numbering from one or ace to to 10, plus four face cards, king, queen, night and jack. And then each taro has a separate 21 card trump suit and a single card known as the fool.
