Is It a Duty of Care to Strike?

Nurses and doctors are paid really poorly in this country, or all NHS workers. There might be something that has to be done to push for something different. I think it's difficult for everyone to make those decisions because you don't want to be away from a ward that's already completely stretched. It is also a job where we're earning money to care for our dependents and ourselves. We are allowed to have working conditions that reflect that. And if that means that people aren't able to give the patient care that they're employed to do because they're striking, maybe that is what it takes. That doesn't exclude healthcare professionals, just because we have a duty of care.
