What's the Difference Between English and Punjabi?

One of the real joys of hanging out with people who speak english but are not from the united states is, is making fun of how you each pronounce the same words differently. I remember i was trying to tell one of my, like, my er, my friend, who's like, you know, bornerays in london, but they're punjabi, indian, you know. And so obviously that's quite quite a ride, yes.
