The Importance of Conditional Prophecies

The idea that the true prophets can't make a single wrong prophecy is an idea not firmly grounded biblically. God himself makes this point, he in fact tells us there can be implied conditions. But I would have to say that given the complexity of situations like this, I'd have to know the priest or at least study the situation where it happened.
