In the Nukemaki and ethics, there is this sense that ethics is kind of like an art form. It's like the art of life and you have to study other artists of life. There's also this element of passed down knowledge as you talked about with the very title of the book. And so it's a very different just sense of what ethics is compared to the more kind of now dominant rationalist, utilitarian sense of ethics.
