The Relationship Between Jesus and Joseph

The only other occurrence of that phrase in the rest of the Bible is in the parable of the wicked tenants. It's like a reversal of the prodigal son kind of thing. And so we're just seeing this play out in the Old Testament narrative, but it's going to be reused by the author of Samuel with reference to David and then the authors of the Gospels are going to also draw connections between Jesus and Joseph.
