The New York Times Newsmax Ratings Climb After Tucker Carlson's Exit
A Quinnipiac University poll shows the defamation trial hurt trust among some viewers, whereas 65% of Americans said Fox News should be held accountable for spreading false information. Among Fox News viewers, 50% said these revelations had no effect on their belief that the 2020 election was stolen. However, 13% said they no longer believed the election was stolen and 21% of Fox News viewers who were aware of the lawsuits that they trusted the network less following the revelations from the text and Murdoch's deposition.
