Diaspera Jews
i was raised on the theory that diaspera, jews are comfortable in their diaspera there. They're comfortable in their identity as those who follow one true god but not desiring something more. So just because things are going fairly and just because its home for the present, doesn't mean that you don't expect this massive, great restoration that's going to be a radical shift and and an improvement. And i think that's what we do see throughout this period. It's not like jews are constantly regarding themselves as in captivity through this whole period. But that also doesn't negate the expectation of something better in the future.
