Andy Kuchins: In the first essay about Ken Lee Partito, a title of feeling free history, I really saw him kind of trying to make a case for Piketty's approach. He says when they encounter these kind of big history things that are kind of like big theories of historical change, they bristle at this because it's just like too far away and too remote. And almost, we not defend him, but say there's, you know, let alone an economist putting forward big picture theory of historical change. That's the worst nightmare for some historians.
