The Black Man and the White Man in the Rehearsal

In rehearsal it was really interesting everybody knew what they were signing up to and I in my view an actor's job is to transform into somebody else we're not employed to play ourselves that would be really dumb. Usually people give better performances when they're playing somebody far away from themselves very often it's more liberating. There were times when it was really hard for the black actors in the room to hear black experience being spoken by white actors, he says.
