What Was the Experience Like for Mixed Race Children?

Mixed race children in the 18th century were also Illigitimacy. They had a 'double prejudice' because of their race and legal disabilities. Some people thought they would be promiscuous, which was seen as bad for women of colour at the time. And so mixed-race children suffered more than white illegitimate children.
