Was Atlantis Really Real?

Atlantis is said to have been a city-state in the Mediterranean Sea. It was ruled by descendants of ten sons and five sets of twins, according to legend. Plato's story says that they lost their way after becoming greedy and deceitful. The Greeks fought off an attack from the Atlanteans but were eventually defeated. Atlantis' location has remained a mystery for more than 2,000 years.
