Is Your Risk Adjusted Return Crucial?

The yields in the rural or suburban areas of the UK are better than London. I wonder if that's a trend that you see in the US where perhaps the yields for landlords are a bit better outside of the major cities. You know, personally, and I tend to think of life in terms of among other things, risk adjusted return. To me, starting out at least at a seven yield is something that makes sense to me.
