Warren Buffett's Reluctance to Take a 10 Year Bet
I fully expected Warren Buffett to do better than Roy Newberger, who went in the office every day till he was 94 and managed his own money to 101. He said at that rate, you could do not only 2.0, but you could do 3.0. And so I put together a proposal and I sent it off. Unfortunately, just before I got on the call here with you,. I got an email from Warren saying that given his age, he was reticent to take another 10 year bet. Because he didn't think the quality of conversation at 97, you know, would be as high. So I still think he should have taken that.
