The Future of Confidence
If a few years from now we are co-existing with AIs that are generally intelligent, what's that going to do for our level of confidence? I don't feel threatened by my iPhone or by Google because it helps me live my life. But the large language models present themselves as conversational. That's augmenting amplifying us, not replacing us. And if we've got it integrated within ourselves, it's almost like we're becoming superhuman,. We're augmenting ourselves much like our iPhones would be doing right now.
