Is There a Mental Model in Programming?

We are relying on the mental models, but we're not thinking about how they work. That means those mental mallows are abstractions. You can imagine someone building a library, and they have a mental model in their head of how this code fits together and how it works. But if the person reading it doesn't have the same mental model as the person who wrote it, that's probably where you're getting into er why people misunderstand how certain things work. I would much prefer my job title wit something like metaphor investigator, which is kind of dotoo - i guess i now i can fick whatever the tit.
