The Rise and Fall of Jesus

The whole New Testament is based on the belief that what God did for Jesus, he's going to do for all Jesus people. How then do we know that Jesus was raised from the dead? I'm actually taking part as we speak in a little two and fro debate with a scholar from North Carolina called Bart Erman who wrote a book called God's Problem last year. And it comes back again and again to basically do you believe that Jesus rose from the dead or don't you? Because if you do, everything else looks different and if you don't, we're still where we were. For a start, there is no spectrum of belief in early Christianity about resurrection. They basically all
