Mycenaean Religion
Archaeological evidence in relation to Mycenaean religion comes from objects used in religious ceremonies. These include vessels used in pouring of libations, iconography found on vases, figures and sealstones. Sites uncovered by archaeologists point to the importance of religion for the MyCenaeans due to the potential access most of the populations would have had to the sites. The archaeological evidence discovered at grave circles also points to the importance that was placed on the warrior,. with ornamental weapons and armour that was buried with them.
