Is There Any Signs of Systemic Risk in Financial Markets?
Banks stocks are very simply reflecting a very high probability of a recession. The key place to look for systemic risk is really in funding markets. I think most banks are focused on risks outside of the banking system. Non-bank lenders have incredibly long structural funding where clients give them money into perpetuity.
