Ami, I know that your journey took 55 days. Can you talk us through that? Our journey to Europe involved crossing many countries from Iraqi Kurdistan to Syria to Turkey,. Then on a rubber tinky to Greece, then meeting smugglers and a fake passport in France. Calais was the worst place I've ever been to. There's no place that had the sheer desperation like Calais. And to face to face with death a couple of times, the last time was so close that it was literally like a split of seconds between me and death.
