The Effects of Third Generation Sephosphorns on Mortality
There was a huge association between treatment failure and continued use of Cefla sporean or pipercelentesobacterium. This is the first real evidence that I've ever seen that suggests this concept might apply to seratia and to morganella. And so what does it mean, in my opinion, this adds evidence to not use third generation sephosphorns or pipersilentesobactam for patients that have serious infections due to these ampsy bugs because you can select for derepressed mutants. So we're going to have to pay attention to what that looks like moving forward.
