stage theory is an attempt to map the spiritual journey. Think of it as cartography for spiritual formation. It's just to name where you're at, to name your stage of apprenticeship and with that, your season of life in order to better live it. And then, as a by product, to appreciate where others are at to your right and to your left in the journey without judgment. We'll get into stage theory paradimes - first half of life, active, spirituality, dark night of the soul.
