The Importance of Knowing What to Do
I read a very simple poem to my student about a cat in a hat on a mat with a rat and a bat. They look at me totally confused because they can read all the words. But it's knowing what to do that is the critical component. The moment my students acted out, they are no longer confused. They are now I know what to do. Because inference happens instantly in language. And so do you take virtually? Yes.
