The world we study in the human sciences is not jointed. It is not divisible into clearly demarcated kinds. But even so, we can still study the social world. And i think th that's an interesting quot because it gets to this idea of building onwards without completely rejecting the critiques that make us stop and question the status quo. Even if youdon't like my reading of hegel, there are some concrete reasons why scholars of religion might want a dthe monograph which tries to solve a whle bunch of our problems.
