The Muckrock System Is a Redistributive Tool, Right?
We wanted to redistribute the watchdog function of journalism. That's what we were doing without lir. Muckrock is a transparency organization, and they have really good tools for filing freedom of information act requests. We're transitioning some of that s m s base work over to a collaborative in detroit. It lets everybody do what journalists do, which us try to get public information into the hands of more people.
