The Relationship Between Altruism and the Level of Malevolent Universe
If for whatever metaphysical reason you think that the universe is not auspicious to human achievement it'll default into altruism. You see dagnit even beginning to have a sort of tentative malevolent streak in her when she goes back to the world. She starts to think oh maybe my ideals aren't achievable and i'm going to fight for them anyway. The actual good is real as possible with yours so that's and you see john galt warning dagnitagard of this.
