The Car Is Not Necessary for Survival, Is It?
The car, like the fun like every other piece of technology, is now necessary for survival. Once you posit this as a fundamental lack in human nature, it permanentizes and absolutized what was in fact, a limited condition of scarcity. It creates the very conditions that it pretends it's striving against. So all the world is as boring as a world thatwis accessible by cars. I i think a more pedestrian world, ie, hardly what jesus wants. How do we rebel against this world?
