The Importance of a Public Intellectual

Every age has certain theologians who are also public intellectuals. And Tim was as close as we've had in our day, having a pastor who was also a public intellectual. He stood on the landscape and I'm struck by so many people who were so sad this week. The country needs those with spiritual and moral voices to speak into it.
