Gangnam Style has kind of I think created and paved the path for new jeans and BTS. It helped me sort of figure out my place as like an Asian American person from Los Angeles. K-pop is rooted in South Korea right and like yeah. South Koreans are very different from Korean Americans Right just like you know a mainland Chinese person is very different from like a third generation Chinese American person.
