Ami adam's character louise has to live enough in the future to figure out what she was supposed to have done in the present. The way that information and sensations are being processed,. for that character, louise, is being radically shifted. And i think there is an interest in that movie on the part of villno to end in the short story as well, to show that the, the the way that we think is noit it's a physical process, and it is painful to change.
