The Unusual Relationship Between Ministers and Officials
The relationship between ministers and officials has been pretty tricky in recent weeks. I think aspects of the recent developments whether they were Dominic Raab related or Jacob Rees-Mogg more related are unusual, says IFG's Alex Foster. Some civil servants are very affected by this particularly actually how it sort of resonates out across wider civil service teams but a lot of them have got perfectly sensible ministers who are dissociating themselves from some of this stuff so I do think it is a big problem.
