I have this weird relationship with accents. I'm able to imitate a few different English speaking accents, a few different French ones as well. With Canadian English, the thing that will give it away is anything like any word that will have an OU in it. It's the owl sound. So instead of saying, you know, about that, they'll usually say like a boat,. As opposed to the Americans, which will really pronounce it Ow. And then so I kind of ended up assimilating to the south east accent. But there are some things that make them different.
