Introduction
Adam Kurtz is a British filmmaker known for his sprawling, massively interconnected documentaries about the world we live in. His films are only supposed to be seen on the BBC's website, but inevitably end up on video and file sharing sites across the globe. This past weekend he was in LA for a three-day film series at Cine Family called Into the Zone, A Weekend with Adam Kurtz. Heidecker chatted with Kurtz on the Cine Family patio, while hyper-normalization played, and in fact, along with traffic noise, you can hear the sounds of the movie bleeding into the conversation.
