Site credit holders should be considered part of subsidizing purchases. If you're both paying an influencer and you're subsidizing it with a with a discount, the influencer is building trust they have a relationship. Discounts are a great way to build trust. It's taking that first step to all a branch in a relationship. So I would say discounting with influencers while it is effective, it's marginally more effective than engaging with the influencers directly.
