The Offense of Repentance

At the center of the preaching of the cross is always been repentance and repentance properly understood. For every person who comes to Jesus, whether they're heterosexual or homosexual, they have to die. John the Baptist was ultimately executed for preaching against a sexual sin in his day. So I believe that when we downplay the truth side of Jesus's message, we're also cutting ourselves off from his presence in this issue.
