The Magic Circle - The Welcome Moment

The beginning of the experience is such an opportunity to set the tone and the rules of engagement. In the world of play and game design, there's a term for this, which is called entering the magic circle. When you're thinking about the welcome moment or the magic circle, here are two questions we like to ask ourselves. First, how might you help your audience feel included and then connected to one another? And then second, how do you give that opening moment a zaz, but with purpose?
