When you have a single process that's all stemming from a single cell, they're all going to express that same light chain. So when you have this large pop ation that all has the same light chain, and maybe has other aberant markers as well, that's a sign that this is a mona. It's coming from the same, typically, it's coming from one self. You can have reactive processes that have restricted light and are poly clonal, monotypic, but polyclonal.
