What's Disproportionate About Treason?

There's no disproportion between an everlasting being cut off from fellowship and favour with god, under his just displeasure in hell, and the capital offence offences that we have and we continue to commit. It accords with justice in that sense. Maybe i could put it this way, as one writer suggests, hell is not a torture er. How is god metes out that just consequence that is appropriate to our offence? Absent christ having for us, suffered in our place that consequence.
