Tribalism allows us to flatten people down into memes. When you're in a tribe, it doesn't matter what the other person thinks. You just wanna see the other person get beat. And I think you assumed the worst. But when you said earlier that everything has become politicized, this is an example of that. Even taking cinnamon rolls from a church has now become a political issue. It's because that same tribalism, it's beginning to seep its way even into the church.
