There's a section actually before the table of contents which is Effectively talking about what mental models are from a very high-level short condensed summary view and I think that it helps a little bit to read. So anyway, this is this is from the Farnham Street team And they have a statement that they strongly believe that that says the quality of your thinking depends on the models that are in your head. It says when you learn to see the world as it is and not as you want it to be everything changes.
