Calisthenema in the Adirondacks in North Carolina

In the Northern Hemisphere, calisthenema stayed on oaks and in with these Fagaceae. But you also find them growing on inucalyptus grows, which is a different family, the Mertaceae. So there's probably about three times as many calistoma species in Southeast Asia and Asia than there are in North America. There's also a number of species that occur in Australia and New Zealand.
