The first half of life is basically the journey from leaving our home to finding our home. Jesus said if you lose your life you'll find it but you have to first have a life to lose an ego to crucify. Some people never really find a home they wonder this is about as far as they get on the spiritual journey and that's sad. Most people even if it takes quite a bit longer most people eventually land.
