The Evolution of Tool Building

In the standard model, homohominess and homoheblis and tool building is not evolution. Tool building is a fundamentally different process of new stuff coming into being that didn't already exist. And so with it, we got stone tools and then clothes which allowed us to move environments. But technology broke the symmetry of power that made evolution metastable. We use our tools against each other as we use them against nature. That led to a race to have to make better tools and better weaponry.
