Descartes Concept of the Mind
Descartes conception of the mind is both to think. And think at the same time. It is thick because his centers, his concept of mind and he's around the phenomenon of language. But you also includes in the concept things like consciousness. Things like cogitation itself. Okay. Much of these things are obviously available outside the human species. I mean, it makes no point right now to say that animals don't have consciousness. That's not getting to that. The cost of mind, if it is to be restricted only to humans, simply cannot have a general notion of cogitation built into it. So who knows what ideas animals have? They probably have some idea they move around
