"It's sort of it's got a little bit of spice in there," says director. "The industrial world means a rational man when the industrial world gives us new possibilities ... to stroll and be a dandy" There are also lots of other lovely little details such as arches that hold up viaducts for trains or retaining walls which are often just nice bits of art nouveau, he adds.
